How Do Lead Times Work?

Lead Times

Pertaining to processing of handmade items:

Since some items, such as handmade leather items, including leather journals and accessories, are custom made, they are made to order. Depending on the amount of orders that come through from customers, wait times for an item can take 1-2 weeks until they are shipped. After the item is made, it is then usually shipped within 2 days of completion.

* Orders are fulfilled in the sequence that they are received. This prevents a customer from getting their item pushed back in the production line, and ensures fair and proper treatment of all customers.

What happens when I place an order with handmade items?

Products subject to lead times are stated so in their product description. When an order is placed which includes items subject to lead times, the entire order is processed and shipped upon completion of the handmade item, or items.

If you prefer to receive your non-handmade items ahead of the current lead time, all handmade items should be placed within a separate order.

* Note that this method will require a separate shipping and processing fee.
