I’m C. M. Ritter.

I’m a writer, visual artist, and content creator living and working in Houston, Texas.

Over the last few years, I’ve set my sights on the creation of a collection of books I call The Goldwater Prophecies, all based around a colorful, magical world called Middland!

Truth be told, before Middland came along I didn’t even know I wanted to be a writer, so, in acceptance of my complete and utter lack of preparation for the task thus far, most of my efforts for the time being, are spent not writing, but learning to write and illustrate.

Maybe this is all just part of some grand delusion. Maybe I’m downright crazy to pursue a path as an author, illustrator, and hopeful creator of an immense magical world seemingly completely beyond the scope of my utterly average intellect, imagination, and let’s face it, talent, yet, here I stand with relentless, constantly brewing visions of Middland.

With every new idea, I find myself more and more in love with this story, and wild dream or not, I truly believe that if I put everything I have into this, that every single one of these books will become real someday.
